WFL snare project

Just finished my first vintage drum project. This is a WFL All-American Swing Model. From the info on the badge, and looking at the catalogs, I think it is from 1939-1941 timeframe. The attached pictures are of the condition it has been in since I got it about 25 years ago. The great work I've seen on this forum inspired me to get off my duff and do something with it.

Here are some pics of how it turned out. I want to say a big "thank you" to LegacyDrummer (Bobby) for helping me identify what I had, and to BlairnDrums (Blair) for supplying me with the tension rods I was missing, as well as answering questions and telling me about that miracle called "Evapo Rust"!

Cool drum and great resto job! I've used several different methods of cleaning rust...but I keep hearing about Evapo Rust. Gonna have to buy some. For restoring drums with wrap though...Novus is the best!
