I will be there Saturday all day searching for '69 (roughly) Ludwig Sky Blue Pearl Floor Toms - among other things. :)This will be my first time there and I am super excited! I will also have a 1920's Ludwig & Ludwig Military snare w/ case & sticks and a newer Ludwig Black Galaxy Acrolite along to unload for a great deal if anyone's interested. I may have more things - gotta check the drum studio.Hope to meet some great people there!!!
There is a guy on the Grand Rapids,Mi CL today who has a 69 Sky Blue kit FS...

Thanks guys - the photo just has a filter on it from my phone. Thanks for the heads up, Blair!
We (my son and I) got back home this morning. We had a great time at our second show. We met several forum members and generally geeked out over drums and drummers all weekend. We even found time to catch a Cubs game a Wrigley Field on a cold Friday afternoon.
I really appreciate those who were able to pull themselves away from thousands of vintage and custom drums for an hour to attend a discussion about dating of vintage drums. I am already trying to find a reason to justify a return trip next year.
Gretsch drums with serial numbers,
Ludwig Keystone and B/O badge drums with serial numbers and date stamps,
Ludwig Standards from 1968-73, and
Ludwigs with paper labels from 1971-72
