What do i do with these?!? Last viewed: 2 hours ago

Awesome looking drum, Scott! Robyn, I'm thinking the same thing as you, regarding the toms. Of course, that will still require swapping out the marching mounts for stand mounts, unless I fabricated a couple stands using the marching mounts. Easier to swap 'em out, I think.

Digmon, i have one stand mount for a tom that i would gladly donate if you want it. It is a pearl but a heavy duty one. Ill get a photo and post if you want to see it. Let me know.

WOW! That's really cool, Robyn! I bet I could make that work. These toms are HEAVY, too. Much thicker than the 3-ply stuff I've been messing with lately. I'll send you a PM. THANK YOU!

Looking nice so far, Digimon. I've owned this same drum, and it makes a great alternative bass - the size works for me (wish I still owned it). The large diameter/small depth works for this particular drum, and I think you will be pleased with the sound and response. Mine came with a silver dot batter, and smooth white 10mil reso, and that combo sounded very good.

Thanks. This one came with a coated Weather King and a Ludwig Striders logo head. I have yet to hear it due to the condition it was in and the fact that it's missing a claw and t-rod. I can't wait to get it back together, though.

Hi Doug, got your PM. Will get the mount boxed up and headed your way by this weekend. Ill let ya know when its on its way.

The mount connects to the rim so you dont have to do any mods. No extra holes needed. Actually, you can fill the holes from the clip mount, only holes will be the lug holes.

Heres a photo of it mounted on a fl tom.

Nice suggestion Robyn. I use that very same mount to mount a piccolo snare onto a floor tom as a cocktail setup. Great solution.

Robyn, I guess that's another one I had not yet seen. It's getting to the point where, every time I log on to here, I feel like I've been living in a cave all of my life. ;) I have SO MUCH to learn. Thanks to all of you for the education!
