Robyn, I got that mount today. Awesome! Still trying to manufacture a double tom mount for the other two that won't look "McGyvered." Maybe I should just check into getting a couple more mounts like this one.

I had a good friend of mine refinish an early 60's Premier 10x28 Scotch bass drum in black diamond pearl. It looks great and sounds pretty killer as well. I am going to add three mounts to it to allow for gull wing spurs, mount three floor tom legs, or suspend from a pair of cymbal stands with "L" arms. I'll post pictures when the mounts are installed. I am pretty stoked about it. It will make it's debut this weekend in Dallas. I am thrilled that I was able to save this drum and my friend did a great job with the re-wrap. By the way, the wrap came from Drummaker and that transaction and several others with Andy have gone very well.

I've had this parade snare on eBay for 2 weeks without a bid. Think I might use this rig for a sub gig I have this weekend.

Here is a photo of my refurbished Premier 10x28. It was quite popular at the festival this weekend. Most drummers came up and wanted to talk about it and it was used for two acts. Still have to add the mounting. hardware.

That looks great! and the wrap looks very much like the wrap on my early '60s Premier kit. I'll have to check out Drum Makers. Thanks for sharing, and for the tip!

You bet and thanks for the compliment. The modern day BDP has a smaller chip pattern which I do not like as much, but it still looks great.

I have another 6 Slingerland orphan shells that will probably get the BDP treatment as well...when time allows.
