Just received this one of of eBay complete with the factory diecast rims. This one is in immaculate condition and is now my very favorite snare. The sound is amazing and it looks great with the mahogany kit.

lersch - That drum looks factory new! I have one die-cast hoop on the batter side of my drum. Rimshots will dissolve the little hairs in your nose!

Guys....yeah, it's like new, early 1980's (had to be a Chicago drum to go with my 1984 kit). I payed top dollar for it but didn't care and the sound of a rim shot made it worth the money. Always wanted one, now I have it. Last 2 on my bucket list are one of the smaller-hammered Chicago ones and a Black Beauty from 1984 with the transition badge....if you have one for sale, lemme know. :-)
