I probably have the least, with one full kit, and two other " 2 piece pub kits", and 5 snare drums.. But, i have owned 9 kits since i started doing the gigging circuit 25 years ago..

Don't know if that counts ? ;)

I have 4 kits, 1 vintage and the other 3 MIT orphan assemblages.

I also own 9 snares.

Where my collection of drum stuff might be slightly different is that I own 4 DW5000 pedals from different eras and 1 Ghost pedal.

It's an idle pipe dream project of mine to document the various changes that have been made to the DW5000 pedal from the Martin Fleetfoot, Gretsch Floating Action, and Camco versions through the current battle wagon, including the Frank Ippolito/Al Duffy mods to make them chain driven.

Well, it's super-important to let folks know you don't share their interest in this or that. Good job!If I had the dough I'd have a few kits for sure, selected based on difference - sizes/make/model etc. Oooh I'd get me some Rogers!Cool thread, not enough pictures tho.....:)Mitch

Not enough pics is right. I will try to take a couple later today. I am on the fence here when it comes to the "just stacking them" debate. I do love looking at them, they are awesome decorations. On the other hand I have found it hard to "rotate" them and play them. Ever since I got my Camcos finished I have hardly touched my Zebra kit and the walnut Ludwigs I just did. I would be fine with my Camcos here at home and my Fibes at Bruce manor (our practice room). I guess it would be hard to let go of the drums with the original wraps, like my spb clubdates or my oyster blue super classics. And I have a couple Pearl kits that are just stunning. So I guess I could get rid of half my drums pretty easy, just did sell the Rogers and Im not sorry I did because they are going to a very nice person from this forum and I know he will get them out to shows, then lots of people will get to see them, unlike in my basement where Im the only one who ever saw them. Pics later.

Thank you!

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Mike Curotto has over 620 snare drums, I believe. All restored and on display.

I will post directions to his house shortly.
