The only part i disagree with is the 6 ply part I have played them all 3 ply 5, 6,9 and the 6 ply is as good as any of them and they hold up better IM...

Put a coated emperor on the batter and a coated ambassador on the reso. and use a felt strip on both sides simply can not beat the sound...
