Camco Oaklawn Maple kit for sale in Oklahoma!

Loading...

Hey everybody, I have a kit that I wanted to let you guys know about. I just listed it on evilbay, but I'll gladly listen to offers over 1000 from my fellow drummers here. If anyone brings an offer I can't refuse, then I'll happily end the auction. I have a few other pics that aren't posted on the auction.

Thanks!

Hey Eric, I hope you don't mind me asking... why on earth are you selling those? I have a set of Oaklawn Camcos that I play here at home (never leaves the house,) so I know what your set of drums sounds/plays like. They're going to have to pry my Camco's from my cold, dead hands! If I should become homeless, the bass drum will be my apartment.

I was just curious why you're selling and I'm curious mostly because I am so attached to mine.

Not to worry. When the right buyer comes along, you'll get a good price for those. They are in beautiful, original condition. Those 4-ply Jasper maple shells are the very best ever produced by any company. That plus the unique Camco/Geo. Way bearing edge profile and you end up with a set of the best sounding drums on the planet. Oaklawn Camco owners know I am not exaggerating.

Hi Erick:

Just curious. Your auction title says the tom is a 13 but the description says its a 12. Just curious.

Sam,

The 13 was a typo...it's a 12 (my big fingers have a habit of hitting other keys sometimes).

John, I actually have the exact same sizes in a George Way 1959 kick and 2 LA era toms (all natural maple). So, since those drums have been with me longer AND I worked so long on the kick, they have become the drums that you'll have to pry from me!

I was considering them, but I guess I'm too late, as I see the ebay listing has been ended.
