blaemire? Last viewed: 2 minutes ago
Yes, it Blaemire, and has been discussed. One of only two drum sets I've seen with original Blaemire lugs.

I must have missed that post..I've never seen original lugs before. I'm surprised no one has negotiated a deal.
Just learned this. I think.............
Lugs are aluminum.
WOW!
Right Greg?
Thanks to Mr. Jerry Jenkins

The lugs weren't aluminum after all. They are cast metal with chrome plating, although it is a poorly polished mold making a somewhat crude appearance. I sent the lugs to Jerry's son. He already had some and they are planning on building a full set with the Blaemire lugs. I knew I'd never find enough for my needs, so I passed them on. Will be using ludwig standard lugs.

I didn't notice Scott had mentioned aluminum, as I knew they were cast metal. We had found a kit that had these powder coated black. Took them to a plater and had them stripped and rechromed.
Good stuff Will, can't wait to see your kit when you're finished.

Hi, New here.
I have a A.F. Blaemire and would like to get some information on it.
It is 14x10 and looks to have slingerland lugs with a vintage looking swirl wrap. Any info would be much appreciated.

In short, Allan Blaemire built fiberglass shells in the 60s and 70s that were sold as parts for DIYers and often were built out by drum shops. Google can take it from there, but to say the least, that's a rare and high quality piece and will likely draw several avid offers. PM sent.
