I can only afford one obsession at a time haha. I too have 5 Gretsch kits....and no other......so far. The madness continues!
Let's see what you're currently playing!
Hey Tim,
Here's a Slinger-Leedy for ya: 1959 14x20, 9x13, 16x16, matching 4x14 snare. Got these in Lawrence, KS a few years ago. I have the original kick legs, the clip ons just do a better job. I also have a champagne sparkle 1966 Leedy 20/12/14 I'll post eventually. It needs a good cleaning and a rail consolette to get it up to snuff. My Leedy & Ludwig WMP is up in the gallery, added it a couple of days ago.
This is a great thread with some seriously great looking kits. It's nice to see what is out there and actually being used. With the recent Leedy posts, I'd love to see some Leedy kits. Here's "one" that's currently setup at home:
1968-ish Premier 101 Kit (12/14/20) in Mahogany DuroplasticOlympic by Premier 14x6.5 Snare in Mahogany Duroplastic
My son will probably use this on his next gig.-Tim
Beautiful Tim!
Thank you!

Great stuff guys
Been playing these the last two weeks.
It's the CILCO guy! Right? Looks like him. I grew up near Peoria, IL. Nice drums, too.
