Hey guys, here it is, no Dennis, just the wrecking crew. Brian producing. No beach boy musicians on this. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cD0_Swdr2Qks Just the studio musicians, and then the boys harmonies.

I may have already posted this. your link isn't working ? cool working now thx.

Whoops, ok. I think it insane to think Dennis , who was ok in my book, played on as many tracks of their given band as Ringo. Just ludicrous.

Brian at that time knew what he was looking for. He definitely had a vision. Once he got all those early songs recorded, he just, ohh well. He rested on his laurels, and conveniently lost his mind a little. Pretty good laurels to rest on.

well stated as all your post have been, but I think we are taking a wizz on the electric fence with kookadams. Ren & Stimpy: Don't Whiz on the Electric Fence! - YouTube

Ren&Stimpy are the best cartoon of the past 2 decades,,,,genius. And just because the beach boys gave credit to the wrecking crew and the beatles were more secretive about their session guitarists/drummers doesnt mean those dudes dont deserve credit.... and once again my words being taken outta context/ Im not saying the beatles werent good Im jus saying they owed their success to george martin. The beatles were NOTHING without martin, they wouldnt have got off the ground with EMI, they wouldnt have made it to the US, they wouldnt have had the phenomena they had, martin pulled the strings, the same way mclaren did with the sex pistols, THE same way. Ya cant rewrite history when the facts are in every resource.

And many leave out the fact that the beatles were no longer a band after august of '66/ from then til their breakup in 69 they were a studio group, just like the ripchords and fantastic baggys.

The best in my book would be

the legendary gene krupa ...

Not only an incredible drummer but also a fantastic demeanor and charismatic personality.

He never let show biz go to his head.

Always willing to talk to the average person.

His consulting with slingerland help to create

the first tunable toms for drumsets.

He also sponsored the first national drummer competition which has been adopted by guitar center.

His first winning contestant was louis bellson..

Oh,for the love of Pete, the Beatles WERE still a band.Just because they weren't performing live anymore, means exactly zilch, nada, zip and zero. You really want to hang your hat on THAT.Also there isn't a shread of evidence they used any other guitar players, except Clapton, one ONE song. They also used Billy Preston, who is shown in Let it Be and the roof top concert. They also used various string and horn players, but that's it.They didn't give credit?Well neither did anyone else in those days,INCLUDING,the Beach Boys who use the Wrecking Crew.....heavily.

They also broke up in 70,NOT 69 like you still insist upon.If you're going to even attempt to bring up that Purdie story, you'd better have some new FACTS,and not some made up conjecture.Purdies fairy tale about him being on the first few Beatle albums, and Ringo not playing at all,,as well as the rest of that fairy tale, has been debunked....numerous times. It carries the same weight as bigfoot and Pauls dead.

A band is a band,no matter where you play.George Martin contributed to their sucess, but they wrote the music. They played the music, they sang the music, and toured all over the world, and were a great live band, that sounded just like their albums. They also did the arrangements and instrumentation,as can be witnessed by numerous out takes in circulation.

Sir George was producing comedy and novelty records for EMI when he met the Beatles, and was clueless as how to produce pop/rock bands like the Beatles. It was a learning process.

I don't know where you're getting your information from, but it dosen't resemble the facts what so ever. The Beatles sold over 71 million in cd sales last year,2013.Chew on that one.

And dennis played just as much on BBs albums as ringo did on beatles/ sure they got help from hal blaine and earl palmer but the beatles had their session drummers and guitarists too.

That statement is complete fabrication in relation to Ringo playing drums on Beatle albums. The only other one to play drums on a few songs was Paul McCartney
