Thanks for the info. I'll be completely honest with you guys. I picked it all up for $150. So I imagine that was a good deal. If I wanted to resell, what would be a good asking price including everything considering the wrap coming apart at the seams, etc...
WOOOOW!!! I'll pay you $151!!!Laughing HLaughing H
Seriously, a huge deal you made!! Congrats!!Clapping Happy2

WOW!!! i`ll bid $152,ha.What a great deal you got on those-big time! They do look like Champagne Sparkle and even with the wrap seam situation i`d think you`d get $550.-$650. all day long and that may be low? Nice score for sure!

Heraldo may be correct, but I disagree. In 1976 to 77, Ludwig went to the granitone interiors with no re-rings. Also, the top right, and lower left of the blue/olive badges were rounded instead of pointed from 76 on (rounded so they wouldn't snag on things and bend supposedly). Take the heads off one drum and look at the plys. Early 70s were 3 ply maples, clear lacquered interiors and reinforcement rings.
Just the snare, if in good condition would fetch around $200.00 give or take. I would think the entire kit in the ball park of $500-700. The separation at the seams isn't too difficult to fix.
Just my :2Cents:

Hi!
Well I put my bet on ´76, according serial number shown on pics (near 1.25x.xxx), wich is close enough to 1976 serial numbers table range, with pointy corners of course.... but I could be wrong anyway.
´Till 76, as far as I know, interiors were clear maple, not "granitone" finish as you correct mentioned above.
A way to get closer, could be to take a look inside the shells.

That was a great deal but that's champagne sparkle.
Gold Sparkle looks like this....
Yep, Champagne Sparkle. Very desirable. You definitely got a deal on those. Easy wrap fix and should clean up nice.
Listing on eBay. Gonna include hardware and cymbals. Reserve of course but a reasonable amount. Not looking to get rich off it. Lol... someone who is more of a collector than I will I'm sure like it. Thanks for all the help people! !! :-)
