Thanks! It's my favorite finish. Unfortunately, Radio King snare drums (or ANY Radio King drum) is almost unheard of in this finish. The only Radio King snare in Sea Green I am aware of is Mike Curotto's (surprise, surprise!) 1940's Super Gene Krupa snare. It's really a great finish and I wish it had been offered longer. Below is a close-up of the 9x13 tom. Note the double ended snare drum lugs. When the first RK tom toms were produced, the Streamline tom lugs were not yet available, so snare drum lugs were used. I had noticed the lugs but was unaware of them being used for toms, interesting stuff.I don't mind if it's a Leedy snare, they are my other love. Chances of one turning up in the UK are zilch. still I can dream

Wow there are some beauties here Mind Blowi The Story with mine are that the finish is an off color batch of Black Diamond pearl that came out with a blue tint. Also cigar lugs with oval badges means that it was made pre-war ,shelved and sold after with the newer badge. . .13,14,16,26,28,artist snare

See green pearl...blue/black diamond pearl! WOW!!!Here is my recent RK acquisition in extremely faded sparkling gold pearl. The set is 26,13,14,16 with a 1945-46 aluminum cloud badge. The snare is 5.5x14 solid maple with a 1950-53 badge.Also, my 7x14 solid maple with a 1944-45 badge.Lynn

That's a lovely kit, I love the configuration with the 12 x14 tom, I bought this a couple of weeks ago and am waiting on a friend to ship it over to me, very excited, straight out of the 1940 catalogue, even has it's cowbels and slip covers.
