A bodhran would have one or two support pieces of wood on the inside. Doesn't look vintage to me. The indentation on the bottom looks to me as if it were meant to be hand-held. I think it's just some modern imitation of a Middle Eastern hand drum.

To me the drum is a vintage hand drum made by Studio 42 .

It could be what they called a Banjo Drum... A lot of them also had snares under the head.
