Thanks for all of the replies, Fellas. I've been helping my mom and brother move houses this weekend, so I've been offline.
I hit up Ralf through his website and he shared with me that the kit is from around 1967. As you have already determined, the wrap is Eddy Gold Satin Flame. He also shared a link to the Tama website with this catalog scan (see below). Pretty cool. I admit that I was also impressed by the staggered lugs and 10-lug 20" bass drum. I know there are not too many of those are around.
I started working on the 12" rack tom and the wrap fell right off. Looks like I will be glueing it back down before I can clean it. The hardware was a little rusty on the inside, but the paint and the bearing edges look fantastic! I don't think the heads have ever been off of this kit. Also found a stamp that says '6120' on the inside. Anyone have a clue what it means?
I'll be keeping this kit for a while. I don't have a kit in these sizes or a kit from the 60's, either. Can't wait until she's all done, but it may take me a couple of weeks since my time is normally spread out between a day job, family and gigging. Here are a few pics of the rack tom.
