Non-profit or not, in order to stay in business you guys are going to have to jump through all the same hoops that any other 'for profit' start-up company goes through to get the word out about their product. That means having booths and representatives at major drum shows, advertizing in trade magazines, maintaining an Internet presence, etc. etc. etc. I'll keep a good thought for you. It's not going to be easy holding down a 9 to 5 to pay the bills while trying to get this 747 off the runway. Any way you cut it, you've got a heavy lift in front of you even with the built in brand recognition you're starting out with. A new business is a new business and it's going to be an uphill climb to establish your own niche in the existing market. I wish you all the luck in the world with your effort to revive this great American line of drums.

But I don't envy you the job that is in front of you...

John

Too many great drums to list here!

Or, maybe you mean this type of hex wrench? i have bought a couple of these little gems. http://www.stewmac.com/Luthier_Tools/Types_of_Tools/Wrenches/Bracket_Hex_Wrench.html

Yes, but, it would be cool to have the W&A stamped on the handle...

Cheers

This is the key that came with my first W&A drum set. i was led to believe that this has been with the set since it was new in the early 1960's. It looks as though there was never any lettering on the key.

I have one of those keys in my collection...I remember now...The seller stated that it was a W&A key...But, if I remember right he had a few for sale...Possible repro maybe?? I don`t see them come up for sale often...

Thanks for posting the pic...

I think it would still be cool to engrave or stamp W&A on the new key so it would be different from the old key...

Cheers

Good luck with all this. I would love to read the definitive history of W&A. For many years, I was totally ignorant of the existence of the company, all the while using hardware they provided......marko

I agree 100%. I'd buy some of them.

That makes two of us old guys. And, for many many years, I thought that Walberg and Auge (that I pronounced like frog) made only hardware.
