Non-profit or not, in order to stay in business you guys are going to have to jump through all the same hoops that any other 'for profit' start-up company goes through to get the word out about their product. That means having booths and representatives at major drum shows, advertizing in trade magazines, maintaining an Internet presence, etc. etc. etc. I'll keep a good thought for you. It's not going to be easy holding down a 9 to 5 to pay the bills while trying to get this 747 off the runway. Any way you cut it, you've got a heavy lift in front of you even with the built in brand recognition you're starting out with. A new business is a new business and it's going to be an uphill climb to establish your own niche in the existing market. I wish you all the luck in the world with your effort to revive this great American line of drums.
But I don't envy you the job that is in front of you...
