I think they want you to upload them to the site so that they will always be here, as opposed to some other site what might take em down. I think...

Truth be told, we never allowed pics inserted in the text box.. because .. they are usually way TOO BIG, which blows the post/thread off the page, and... DTF/Mitch is correct:

We WANT to archive your pics! The only way we can do that is if you put 'em up as ATTACHMENTS. Regarding your pic: My apologies!, as I usually resize/convert when I see those, and put 'em back in as an attachment. In your case, the pic got blown out and I couldn't retrieve it. That said: Send me the pic if you aren't able to get it uploaded as an attachment. I'll send it back ready to go. THANKS for your, and everybody else's understanding!

Thanks for the reply, Tommy. To be honest...the reason I like embedding pics in my comments is because they are large and easy to see! From now on, I will shrink my pics and upload them as attachments.

That being said...I have attached a pic of my '58 Luddies w/'66 Supra again. She is a re-wrap that had extra holes, which makes for a perfect gigging/touring kit since all original value is gone.

First, THANKS for taking care of that!, and... that's exactly the problem: When you imbed them, the pics are so large WITHIN the text box, that it blows everything off the page. Size isn't really the issue here either, as click on any of the pics/attachments currently on this thread, and have a look at the size of the pics: Large! Difference is, as an attachment, the pics stay small and out of the way until the reader wants to view them.. then .. BAM! The other advantage is the fact that as attachments, we can now archive the pics for future reference. THANKS again for your cooperation and understanding!
