Good News. AMD Music, who is the Remo distributor in France, has put in 5 or so orders for the older Premier sub-20" heads, in the past 8 months. The Ambassador # is BR-1120-Pr. They have or can get Emperors, Pinstripes, Powerstrokes and Diplomats, maybe others too. It is a 19 5/8" head or 49.8mm-----should work perfectly for you. The price for them is only about 10-15% more than a regular Remo head.

update : a friend reseller has just sent an order to EMD for 2 heads for me !

The wing bolt in the tom arm is a replacement ---the original had that beautiful assymetrical head, like the bass drum T-rods.
And Gerd @STdrums will send a tom support with two screws same as the BD T-rods. Thanks to Mickey ! ;)
