I've decided to play my drums Last viewed: 1 day ago
24 x 2 12x15 in the middle 16x16 and 16x18 on the side snare of your choice now get to rockin and alot less talkin.... :)
Who said re-wrap? shame shame shame, I was 19 when my dad took me to the Niles plant and I picked out my first set, (which was the 24" bass, 13/14/16/18 toms,) the others I have picked up over the years, only if the wrap was spot on to my set, the only re wrap are those 6/8" and that wrap was custom made (took 5 months) so its almost dead on also. I think when you figure the cost of the small toms, plus the custom wrap, plus install, it almost adds up to a decent complete set of skins. LOL

Absolutely! play'em out, I'd invest in a good set of hard shell cases to protect those beauties if you don't already have some. D' Drummer

I agree....that would be one kool gig! A pain to set up and break down, but for one night with all of them? So what! x-mas3
Oh Yeah! With a Ludwig B/O deep dish Black Beauty and Ebony Ambassadors. Or an LM402...That's a band3Killer Kit!
I concur! Vintage drums should be SEEN and HEARD! I play out with my '68 Ludwig Standard Avocado Strata kit since I bought them. I always get people, young and old, coming up to me and asking me about them.
Play the whole set and have the guys in the band give you four bars in one of your songs so you can do a fill around the intire set!!

Now that'd be a roundhouse fill. Wipeout with a section on each Tom! But, yeah, take them out and play them! It's not a Renoir, it's a set of drums. I believe they were made for that function.
And then you could play that fill that starts off "This is Spinal Tap!"
