I had a talk with the guys in the band last night, and the guitar player brought up a valid point. He buys nice vintage guitars and plays them. Makes no sense for me to leave these gems in the basement, when I die anyway the wife is going to put em in the street, so I'm gong to enjoy them and start bringing out to gigs. now to figure out the different size configurations.

Good for you!! Your set is amazing and people need to see these even if most of them have no idea what they're looking at. They'll still think the drums are beautiful. Just make sure you don't put them on a rickety stage. You don't want them bouncing off of each other from your playing or when someone else in the band starts jumping around. Also, I had to put an extra rim mounted BD spur on the front my Slings to keep it from walking away despite the 4 legs it already has. I actually just use the bracket, not the spikes as they put the front of the BD up too high and cause the chain on my pedal to rub against the batter head and it's been just enough to keep things in place.

So go ahead and give those beauties some air!

I really like the way the 6" and 8" concert toms are mounted (correctly) reversed with the high tom on the player's right (like bongos and timpani). I believe Trixon used to mount their toms this way also. What a gorgeous set, and what brilliant wrap. This must be a rewrap, no?
