I that wrap is the rare maroon sparkle that Slingerland offered not red sparkle. Very beautiful.

Nope, that's a beautiful red sparkle Slingy. The backing on that wrap is a blue sparkle, which gives it that dark red color.

All hardware cleaned and polished and in amazingly nice condition. New Remo heads arrived via Fedex.

Will begin reassembling the toms this weekend.

I have a 14x20 that matches your set - I think it's a '66. I have been trying to find toms to go with it, to no avail so far. Certainly let me know if you'd want the 20" drum, but in the meantime I'm still looking for toms. Congrats on your set!

I'm not wild about the Gauger rim mount. Too big and ugly.

  • 1964-1966 Rogers 22 OR 24x14 bass drum in silver sparkle. Beavertail lugs, flat grey Cleveland tag interior
  • 1959 Rogers Holiday 5x14 snare drum in blue sparkle. Serial number #13382. Large double sided bread and butter lugs. Part of my kit that was split up before I purchased it. Bring the snare home!
