atomic,I have the same problem with Photobucket pictures. It has something to do with their format not working with this forum's format. Check out the instructions for picture posting. It's very helpful. Even I was able to do it after following the instructions! (and that's saying something!) heh hehflowers2Here is the link:http://www.vintagedrumforum.com/showthread.php?t=1713(Photo posting instructions can be found in the General Section as a sticky, btw)

I clicked on the link. After that I didn't understand a damn thing that was being explained. I wish I still had my old 3.2 camera working instead of this 10 mp piece of crap I have now.

I apologize for the weird pic. My old 3.2 camera is acting up and I can't figure out how to post from my new camera using photobucket. This drum was a basket case with all the steel parts rusted badly. I had the parts cheaply replated. Funny thing is; They now match the brushed nickle of the shell. Inside the drum are reinforcing plates behind the lugs. The drum looks like the Multi-Model pictured in "Guide to Vintage drums.(I ddon't know what happened here. The pic showed up in "preveiw post". But not here.) Mike. I will email you a pic or 2.

Your drum looks like an older Multi-Model...very cool!

Thats what I thought. The Multi-Model was an amazing drum for it's time. 1st to have swivel nuts in the lugs. And I think first to have hoops that were flanged and did not use clips. All this in 1915! The other companys didn't pick up on these things for years after this. The drum does not sound bad either. In fact it sounds pretty good. Not quite up to my Ludwig NOB of close to the same vintage. Mike, could you maybe post the photos I emailed to you here? Thanks. Tom
