"Rolling Bomber" update Last viewed: 2 minutes ago

Hello,

Here are some pics of My Rolling Bomber kit so far. I finally had time to set this thing up. Wow! it's a crazy drum set.

28x14, 13x9, 14x11, 7x14 (snare)

11" Alejian Hats

13" Alejian splash

The shells are in surprisingly good shape. There is almost no ply seperation and all the hardware works.

Pretty cool.

Thank you!

They don't sound as good as they look but I'll keep tinkering with them.

If you'll recall that's what I had Told you with the tacked bottom heads they don't have all that great of a tone to them! but they are a very nice Historical drum kit!

Hey VM2K. Can you get those tacked ones redone? Seems like it would be possible. Any ideas?

In what way, re tacking the heads or drilling them for lugs?

Shame on you for mentioning the "D" word. Tacking, of course.

Smack me for even saying it out loud, yes most definitely re tack them to put more tension on them, the heavy pig skins they used still has that certain sound to them!
