I'll second (or was it third or fourth) the poor design of the Tempo King pedal. I picked up one and have tried to make it feel good - futile. It's too wobbly. I replaced the leather and it's still just too dang wobbly. It will 'swing' from left to right with no solid feel under my foot. I'm not used to having a pedal that wobbles and shakes and shifts when my foot rests on it. Bad stuff.
I use others; speed king, dw5000, dw7000, blah blah blah.
I have a Slingerland Epic pedal but I don't know much about it- what years where they produced and what is the difference between the Epic and the AA? thanks in advance

I love the Tempo King. The leather strap broke, so I replaced it with a nylon strap from a cat collar. Been perfect for 2 years now.
I use to build them....It was KP.....
The aa and epic were ok...Just ok but when you consider that what the early guy played its amazing...
The speed king is better...But change the spring from a hardware store and it will be better...
Later they had a hidden spring piece of garbage
But the Yellow jacket was not bad
I got a AA bass drum pedal for sale just in case...
Wow!! I've never been a fan of the black panther wrap but the pic on your website with the sun shining on the chrome has me believing!! Amazing how you turned those shells into that kit.
