Have to sand down a new snare bed becaus old one is to sharp to let the snare wire touch the reso head. I'm going to sand down about 1/16 off the bearing edge. Any help would be appreciated.

I would be happy to assist, but please post a picture or two before you start cutting it down.

Tell you what. I need to cut some in a shell I am working on, so how about if I make a video in the morning? Will that work?
