Country of Origin of Rocker Snare?

Please, Ludwig guys, I am interested in what I believe is a Rocker snare (black and white badge, rounded corners). The serial number on the badge is 16393 BUT, nowhere can I see "Made in the U.S.A." I know that Rockers were originally made in North Carolina but, later in the mid-eighties, they originated from Taiwan. The only Ludwig I own is a late seventies Supra (my favorite snare!!) so I don't know much about Ludwigs at all. Is this snare probably a Taiwanese outsourced instrument? Thanks for any help at all!

I always thought that black and white Ludwig badge = made in USA. Am I incorrect? I had a Rocker kit with a great chrome over wood snare. Underrated great kit.

It might be COW. A lot of those chrome Rockers snares are. I used to own one & they sound great.

Good choice my friend, they also made a cheap brass snare just like the steel one that you'd shown. A buddy of mine got one on sale from GC for $99.00.back in 2003 or around that time frame.
