Here's one for you Rogers lookers in CT. Located in Enfield. Looks like a Fullerton era setup and pretty much looks like it was together all along. Good price at $875.

Those are sweet! Nice deal for someone.
Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.

Transition set using up the old tags plus one drum with star washers. Probably a later 1969/very early 1970. Note the detail in the toms. The 8x12 has the earlier layout with mount, script and tone control. The 9x13 has mount, script, blank panel and tone control. Probably is double scripted too.
If I be back in MA, I be trying to get that one for $870! By the way, I quoted $5 higher than it actually is.
Dan,
I've watched that set for a while on CL when it was listed for $1200, but never took the twenty minute trip to check it out, as I'm not really in the market for a 5-pc. Seller is describing the set as Cleveland/Dayton mix (based on the leftover hand-written "Holiday" labels), but the hex bolts and star washers show it to be a Dayton/Fullerton transition mix as you pointed out. Looks like a very, very nice set. If some eager buyer doesn't snap it up soon at this price, I may have to snatch it, sneak it into the house past the Mrs, and then keep it covered up in a corner of the over-crowded basement, but I'd rather see it go to someone who really, really, wants it.
Glenn, Tommy... no interest?

I'd be hard pressed not to grab it for that price if I was there, and use it as 20,13,16 given that the 13 probably has two scripts. I lean a bit toward red onyx, but I tend to use just 4 pieces to avoid confusion. Laughing H
