I met two ladies from Liverpool England who came to see a McCartney tribute band I was filling in for the regular drummer. One of the ladies said she was a member of the Cavern club and had recently thrown away her membership card cleaning out old things. I couldn't believe it. She also told me she saw The Beatles quite regularly there and as she was telling me about it , more than once said the Beatles were perfect gentlemen in their behavior towards the girls and the patrons. Maybe she went to the lunch sessions. ? I had heard They would eat on stage and Lennon would swear and yell to his friends from the stage. But who knows.
