Close to pulling the trigger on this four piece Rogers Holliday (does have tags inside). I can tell that the tom mount is non-original as well as the tension rods and claws. I assume that this is a re-wrap but the seller insists that it is original. Opinions my fair gents . . . . . . and ladies.
Is this Rogers wrap original? Last viewed: 4 hours ago
Duh of course it must be a re-wrap. No Rogers badges. A little slow today. Wait, I do see one on the bass drum.
$499 I just spoke to the seller, he says both badges are missing on the rack toms, but the bass drum and floor tom have them.

I'd ask if those edges were recut too. They look a little clean... Also the tone control is an earlier one. I could be wrong but I thought they went to white felt by the time the star washers came into play...Then again, the washers could have been swapped out too . Any photos of the tags?
Good luck.

I would not mind if it is a re-wrap, but the Pearl Tomholder makes me sick:-(:(

Looks like bdp like my old kit, but that Pearl tom mount is obscene. I would try getting them down to $400.
The pearl tom holder is a 50% reduction in value.

...along with those skinny, non-Rogers grommets, the missing tone control on the 13" tom (should be right over the vent hole), the after-market FT legs, and what looks like a Big-R era batter hoop on the 12" tom.

Nit-picky? Sure, but just enough to get the price reduced to a reasonable $400 for a fine player set.
