Ludwig maple classic exotic in Birdseye maple question

I have a chance to buy this new three piece kit for $999. 18x22, 9x13, 16x16. I will have to shuffle some things around to make this work, but it seems to be a good deal. Thoughts? This would definitely be a keeper set as I love the finish.

I have a Birds Eye Legacy set and they're just beautiful to look at.

People compliment my kit all the time.

If those drums are in "your sizes" the price certainly seems right.

And, I dig the oval badges!

If those are brand new, well then it's a incredible price.

If those are used, well then it's a good price.

As a way to help you evaluate the value, consider that a brand new matching 6.5" snare is in the $500-700 range. Also check the link to see a Fab 22 kit a Drum Center of Portsmouth... this is a MAP for the kit in natural maple:

I can't see the link, but the MAP is $2,099 nonetheless.

HA! I see you got 'em while I was messing around with a link that wouldn't post up.

Good for you, those drums look great... BEM is my favorite ludwig veneer.

Nice kit! Can you confirm the size of the rack tom? Doesn't look like a 9x13, but more of a Power Tom size.

You are right. It looks to be a 10" or 11" by 13". I'm fine either way.
