I have no clue what the wrap color is called
on this little four piece Zim Gar kit 20" bass drum 12" mounted tom
14" floor tom and snare drum
They showed up on the Boston Craig's list for fifty dollars
Though kept in one family for many years since purchased new
and having the same wrap and badges throughout the kit
The factory apparently went with double tension stage band style lugs
on the snare floor and mounted tom but used a single tension design for the bass drum
The correct mounting hardware, has since been added, Thanks to DownTownFarmer Mitch
I've got around 12+ MIJ snare drums. Here are 4 of my favorites!
The Star drum is from 1961 and is a Slingerland RK clone! Currently disassembled and waiting to be cleaned and detailed. The Majestic is a very nice Oyster Blue. The Lido Supreme has a stunning Peacock Pearl wrap...as does the 6-lug Star drum, wrapped in original Pearl Fantasia. Turns out that the proper name is Pearl Fantasia and not Fantasia Pearl. Go figure!

Early Pearl Presidents with phenolic shells. Rare badge, 14x22 / 14x22 / 9x13 / 9x13 / 16x16 / 16x16 / 5.5x14 / 5.5x14.
I'm down to only a couple. Have an early Star red sparkle snare needing some parts. Also have this 60's Pearl.

This white marine pearl Tempro kit is my most recent addition
Not 100% sure if they are MIJ or MIT but I was happy to give the two bills for them either way
Does it count if you don't have them anymore? I don't have these anymore. They were great though! Orphan shells of multiple brands, wrap removed re-whitened and re-affixed...the Dixie 13X4" snare was all original.

The battleship lugs indicate Pearl made MIJ '72-74.
That's a beauty!
