Hi fellas

Last Acquisition ( in order to expand the Rogers assortment !)Jump For Joy

According to basic research ( and seller info) , this could be a '73 first year run snare.

I never had, played or even heard a S10 , so I 'm excited to put side by side with my early powerT. and Dyna ...

I read some information about the S10 -even at older threads of our beloved fórum- but I 'ld like to " refresh " some new opinions, and dig into S10 (if you have some particular early's version specif., etc. )

Anxious to hear your always enlightening replies, thanks in advance and Best of Lucks Friends!Walking

(ps. Jack the Ploughman, c'mon give me your best shot, LOL!!!)Bowing

Definitely first year. 1972. Mine is 0934. There were over 9000 numbers represented between Sept. 1972 and Sept. 1975. Unknown how many Big R SuperTen drums were made. However, the same shell design from 1972 lasted for the duration of this drum in the 5x14 size. I believe there were an abundance of shells ordered during the oval badge era, and they never ran out. 1983 Catalog shows the Big R badge in the same location as the Oval Badge.

Hey Heraldo! I mentioned in a thread recently that I cleaned up a Super Ten for a friend. I just wanted to say what a pleasure it is to play (I haven't given it back yet). It's another beast than the Dyna or Powertone and I am really enjoying the nature of this fine machine. I had never played one and had only ever seen pics. Now that I have been bitten by the bug, well, you know!! Enjoy yours!
