once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Good question. I'd like to know. Seems like the reason for Ludwig's existence should have been in more than a couple times. I know his photo was in the 2013 catalog as "Ludwig Royalty". The only other drummer in the catalog that year with that moniker was ......?

This is a trivia question. A hearty handshake goes to the first person to guess. No cheating.

Ringo was never an official Ludwig endorser in the 60's during the Beatles heyday so he's not in those catalogs, although he did turn up in some promo material.

Ringo was Ludwig`s reason to try and keep up with demand which i`m sure they had never experienced in the history of their company in this capacity and he didn`t even need to be an endorser.Lucky for Ludwig that he walked past that music store window with Brian Epstein in 1963 and noticed that drum set which would become the most famous drumset in the history of drums.

Trivia Q: Vinnie?

Well, I was going to guess you, but since you're thinking Vinnie C., I guess you're confirming it's not you. "Ludwig Royalty" would have to be someone who's been around 40 or 50 years plus, so I'm thinking Joey Kramer? Carl Palmer?

From blackd

okay I'm thinking Ed Shaughnessy

Black D is the winner. Congrats.

p.s. I would lobby Ludwig for inclusion of BEC himself too :)
