I too have never seen a 5-lug 12" Slingerland. Maybe it's early production, as people have said. But I would be cautious and make sure it's not a transitional kit. The Slingerland USA stuff was coming from the Ridgeland Gretsch factory prior to Nashville.

Looks like the seller raised the price to $2500. I don't like the 5 lug tom or the depth. I would pass too even at the original price.

I believe the Nashville drums with the triple flanged hoops was the "tour series" model. The drums that came with die cast were the Studio Kings. I think both were produced starting in Nashville ...Here is a link for you.

The other hoop option was not triple flange, it was stick saver hoops. Yes, those would be the Tour Series. I have a set of those I'm looking at buying, really wish they had the die cast hoops. Those hoops aren't cheap.
