Aaron and Wayne, You are very welcome. Just another page from the binders of Rogers research. Sorry it is light and soft in print. I believe I printed it in an OH library off of olde microfiche- if my memory is correct. Glad you enjoyed it!
My first Oaklawn Camco kit was outfitted with Rogers Swivo hardware! The Swivo leg mounts and the tom holder were a much better fit design-wise than the ones used by George Way.

Aaron, I remember that thread from last year,... I was surprised it didn't get more attention.
I'm sure that's exactly what we're looking at, the birth of the Turret lug.
Conceived by "The Man" himself,... George Way.
DW owns pretty much everything to Mr George Way. Every person I know who digs DW always refer to the turret lugs as the reason they like DW. Very few say anything about their sound (which to me is nothing spectacular).
Ummmm.... I think I'm enjoying my DW Drums for more than the look of turret lugs thank you. No need to be rude now.

BLASPHEMY! But, oh so true. I guess that not indulging in Drum Workshop worship is rude to those who do worship that brand. To some of us, they are another very good brand of drums--not the be all and end all.
Please don't let this turn into another DW pro/contra discussion.
Seriously, how many more,...?
This great thread deserves much better than that.

+ 1.
how is this suppose to add to the thread ?

Don't miss the point. I don't care what anyone thinks of the sound of any brand including DW. It was the blanket statement made regarding us DW players that I felt deserved a "steady on mate!" reply.
I for one love the sound and feel of my Drums. And they work hard for me in return. That's why I play them. I'm not some novice DW numpty who's beguiled by shiny round things on my drums. I have a little more integrity than that.

Stef,
Being the Camco-loving guy you are, I knew you would appreciate this! You called it out last year and I finally found the proof! I'm sure there are more of these mounts out there, but yet to see another. I feel special.
