Nice job! I just finished a Club Date rewrap in JS Red Sparkle and I am happy with the results. Are you planning to install inlays on the hoops as well?

Well, the hoops don't have the indent to apply inlays, I suppose I could find some or just wrap the whole hoop. I don't really want to put anymore more money into this kit, it's a players kit no matter what I do, but at least it looks cool and it has that Ludwig sound.

Really nice Mark. Silver sparkle is a real classy wrap color. That's a very good deal on the wrap too. Enjoy them~!

Looks great ! I wraped my vintage Slingerlands with JS vintage sky blue Pearl. No issues, sound great, look beautiful. No mess. Easy to work with. Going on 3 years now and no problems.

Those look really nice Mark. You did a great job. I really like silver sparkle. I like how it reflects the colored stage lights. Thanks for sharing, you did good.

Cant remark on JS wraps coz never used it, but may concider giving it a try some time.

Stay Wiggly,

Beautiful job, Mark. Thanks for sharing all the various permutations this set has gone through. Now is that JS's Silver Sparkle or their Vintage Silver Sparkle wrap? I used the tape method with JS's White Pearl and am very happy with the results.

This is actually the JS silver sparkle wrap, it was on sale for $129. I had a long talk with Sam before buying it and he told me you can't really tell the difference between the JS and the vintage silver sparkle wrap. I believe it's slightly thinner, but it looks great and the price was about $100 less than the vintage line.
