Not only is it a 70`s and back Sonor logo, but it`s a 70`s and back Sonor drum. You`ll find them in their percussion cats. They later changed them to rotary timpani drums. It`s rare with the lever action and came in pairs.
Whoa! Serious? That's actually a factory Sonor drum? Looking at the strange parallelogram tuning mechanism, I assumed it was someone’s experimental project on an old, sliced-up floor tom. Pics below of the internal mechanics. I've got to find a catalog picture of that. Now I think I got a real bargain.
Oh, and it’s W F. Ludwig’s signature on the batter head of that anniversary Top Hat & Cane snare in the picture. Didn’t even look at the price as I was only interested in the Cleveland Dynasonic and Powertone snares on that table. So you were there?
