Nice one. That's the first one I've seen with the case. Yikes on the price but some good things are not cheap. A real beauty though. This is like the one you have Wayne?

Wow that is some serious $$ I don't even know if the Sonor museum at the factory had one. I will have to review my pictures from my time there. It was cool to see the spare parts section of the factory.

I guess that's a good price if you want your snare to ring like cymbal. Personally, I prefer wood. Though, I'd still like to hear what this snare sounds like.

Hi Glenn, yes this is the one i have.I`m not sure about that case being original tho`,but then again i`ve never seen one either so nothing to base fact on there. Two of us on this forum have one of these,so that leaves 198 unaccounted for, lol.

Ok, I just don't understand this. What exactly are you paying for, when you buy this snare? If you can get proffesional quality Supraphonic for, I dunno, 350 dollars? why buy this? Just so you can say that you have really unique snare drum, only few of which have been made? You can also do that with some obscure old european snare you get for cheap. Does it really sound so good that it's worth he price of three top quality vintage drumsets?

I kind of undertand why vintage Gretsch are so expensive, but I'm pretty sure you can get very close to that sound with any quality shell and right edges. Not exactly, but close enough. Most people won't tell the difference. But ok, Gretsches are expensive, but still in sort of sane way. This is downright crazy.

RED FLAG,

I`m curious as to why the add has pics of both the ten lug and twelve lug for the one being sold. (ten lug claimed)

There are plenty of people who have or had these on the sonormuseum.com forums.

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!
