This is a company out of Indonesia called "Ant Mini Drums" which will make a mini replica set of your kit when you send them a pic of your set.I have no idea of their price ranges but i`m going to look further into this.Their work looks very impressive! Kind of cool-check it out.

John,i just briefly went thro` the site and thought i saw $60.00 for a 5 pc with 3 cymbals somewhere on there.I`ll check it out more thoroughly when i have time. They likely wouldn`t be able to replicate the old vintage wraps tho` i wouldn`t think. But if they could... that would be very cool and expensive ta` boot no doubt.First time i`ve ever seen any one offering this sort of service-may be very lucrative for them.

This is a reasonable replica of my old Mapex Saturns. Needs another bass drum, floor tom, stand for ride toms...

Well, they're red and have gladstone lugs.

Came across this thread on the weekend, and it's taken me a while to dig up the picture, but here it is. This is a replica I did back in the 90s, of my Pearl BLX kit. The figure I used, was a ''Big Jim that I'd lopped off the head, and replaced with a plasticine sculpture of my own. Sorry for the dust, but it is difficult to keep clean. I can't estimate the amount of time I spent on this, but believe me, it was significant. If these guys can produce something comparable for less than a couple of hundred, it would seem like a bargain to me... if I had the money that is. Cool stuff.

This is a cool idea/novelty/gift item, but personally I'd rather spend my $120 on a nice snare or maybe even a 1960's/1970's Ludwig kit garage sale find. That is if I'm lucky. :) BTW, garage/yard sale season is coming, so keep you eye peeled.

Man, I would love to make one (or three) of those for myself! Where on earth do you get the parts to assemble those tiny kits? If I can find a source for parts, I'd assemble a few different kits for myself.

Great stuff. I love the double-braced stands and the tiny T-rods on the bass drum. Amazing!
