Re: Star - I uploaded another picture that might help to explain the other two. If I can resize the other two I'll upload them as well. Thanks!

Snare drum heater system for 50's Gretsch snare drum.

Maybe he meant a snare drum beater....he wants a stick for Christmas!

or

Maybe he is doing alot of outdoor gigs lately - maybe volunteering his percussive services in front of a red kettle? The Band

or

Maybe he meant 'meater'....because his snare needs some more punch to it.

or

Maybe he meant 'neater' because it's just not neat looking enough.

or

ok I'll stop now :)

Excited

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

In the olden days dinosaur skins were what the olden folks used to make their drum heads out of (hence the term "skins"). They would change tension with the weather (hence the invention of the Remo weather king). The olden folks used to build a small fire inside the snare drum to keep the skin tension from loosening whilst the players played and the Pterodactyls called in the distance......

(C'mon, it's sorta correct).
