"unless it's vintage, it's just another wooden tube."
My wife is an Alaska native, from a small Eskimo village in north western Alaska. When her mother visits we get all kinds of wild treats: moose, caribou, several types of salmon, seal, king crab, herring eggs, and even the occasional small peices of whale, called muktuk. Living off the land (and sea) indeed!

See...I always thought chicken tasted like rattle snake;)

Funny, I always thought rattle snake tasted like gator! LOL
About the most exotic thing I've ever eaten was an Ostrich-burger! It tasted like dry hamburger, chewy too. Didn't care for it much. In the meat department, I pretty much stick to eating the more traditional 'American barn-yard' type animals. :p

Interesting thread having to do about drums?
I like a plain ole 1/2 pound Burger (from a cow) with cheddar cheese and onion. side of fries and a malt, LOL
a few years ago, they used to host an annual "road kill" dinner, just about anything that walks, crawls, fly's, swim or slithers (that didn't talk) they had there, made me sick to my stomach thinking about it.

Kangaroo is now a well established meat down here, I refuse to (knowingly)eat it though.. as it is an Ozzie Icon..
An Ozzie Burger with the works and Chips (thicker than fries, and beer battered).. I can live with..
Ozzie Burger & works = Beef patty, tomato, lettuce, fried onion, cheese slice, beetroot slice, pineapple slice, fried egg, and the sauce of your choice on a toasted bun.
Wash down with a Boags Premium lager from Tasmania..
