Really cool work, man. Way to think out of the box!
A prototype drum kit out of some vintage shells
VERY well done finish! Getting a good aged crackle finish is not easy. The copper looks great with it.
PS: You beat me to it on the finish. ;)
Great job on the finish.. and really unique match with the hardware..Congratulations on a job well done..(If you don't have a name for the finish, how's about? "Google Maps")Cheers

Great job that you`ve done on this kit!!!Bowing
Thanks for the info. Amazing job on those and the tom shell you posted pics of. Do you do this as a hobby only or will you do work for others? Reason I ask I'd love to do a old duco finish on some shells with the cracked finish someday. And that's some mighty fine work you do. :)
Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.

Thank you! It feels nice to have so many like minded people saying good things about your work. And yes, i'd be happy to help! Just let me know what you have in mind and i'm sure we can work things out. :)
What a great look. Looks like something from Restoration Hardware, but real. Nice call!
