VERY well done finish! Getting a good aged crackle finish is not easy. The copper looks great with it.

PS: You beat me to it on the finish. ;)

I am working on a similar Projekt;-) making a Prototyp out of old Tromsashells, with the parts of Pearl, Premier STDrums...and so on.

Thanks for the info. Amazing job on those and the tom shell you posted pics of. Do you do this as a hobby only or will you do work for others? Reason I ask I'd love to do a old duco finish on some shells with the cracked finish someday. And that's some mighty fine work you do. :)
