Phil - This is a forum for Vintage Drum History. You have visited us just a few times. They have been centered around Mikey and your contention that he is unsavory and a liar. What does it matter to you if Mikey lives in a big house or a little shack with a closet full of MIJ parts. It's not important. Unless he scammed you out of some money or something, there doesn't seem to be any reason for you to be on his case. Where is all of this coming from?

I have to agree with a previous poster.

This has become a very weird thread.

+1 on that. I just hope everyone gets the parts they are owed.

Phil does add a strange layer to it. I remember he first came here to comment on Mikey's Christmas thread. No offense Phil I don't know you or ever heard of you. Or whatever your REAL name is. Just strange how you entered the picture that's all. Peace! x-mas3

backbeatkeeper, I'm sure you would enjoy them immensely. And, good catch on the nom de plume. Now, can you figure out what it means? And if you're really curious about what paper I worked for in Orange County, do a search, there's only one big one. Then read every story back to, oh say, 1980. The one's you enjoy immensely would, of course, be mine.

In vino veritas.....yes I know what it means. As I know The Register was the biggest paper in O.C., as I know who you really are........I'm watching, closer than you realize.

Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....

Hey Backbeatkeeper,

Did I just miss something? Who is Phil and why does he have a vendetta against Mikey and you?

+1 I've been waiting for the other shoe to drop on who this Phil guy is myself.

Who is he? Why does he only pop in to sound off about Mikey? Why is he including you in all this nonsense? There's some history between you guys that only you three seem to know about. How about sharing with the rest of the class? There has to be 'some' story behind all this intrigue... Storm Trooper

I have no vendetta against anyone on this board. I am here simply to expose the truth. Backbeatkeeper seems to defend Mikey777. ANYONE who comes to Mikey777s defense has NO idea of who they are dealing with, period. I wrote a post the other day that told all about Mikey777s real exploits. I was asked by one of the people involved to take it down until everything had been sorted out. I took it down, but WILL repost it once I am told I may do so.

P.S. As to MY true identity. If you believe you know, go ahead, out me. It won't change anything. I'll even go you one better, I will tell everyone who I am when I repost the above referenced message. Unfortunately, I am told it may be 6 or 7 weeks.

So when did this all turn into an episode of 24? Ahh the intrigue. And how odd to use the name "Veritas" as a pseudonym. It's a bit of an oxymoron don't you think?

Squint - I'm beginning to think this guy, Phil just needs to get out more often... that, or get a girlfriend. There's just something slightly off-putting about 'gossipy' men.

'Ahh, the Great Outdoors!' Headed out that way myself. lol

I am here simply to expose the truth.

Unless that truth has something to do with vintage drum company history, I could honestly care less. This site is here for the furtherance of vintage drum history. It's a depository and a place for research. Either add some positive drum history to the site or get the hell out.

Sorry to my drum brothers for being so direct but this crap is just that - crap.
