That seems like VERY good money for this drum. Isn't this close to what a nice all original wood Dyna would run?

That's well over +/-400 - & that's for one in original condition with no funny business. There's no way I'd touch that. $1500 tops seemed to me to be the reach of this particular snare w/ a week remaining. It's now @ 2500. This is the very reason I believe one had to be very careful w/ GW auctions & not get caught up in the frenzy, because if you do you'll be one very unhappy, extremely red dupe.

Yep I hear you Chris thanks for the input. That double grommet sure looks funky on this one too. Fun to watch the crazy bids though. :)

Don't watch these much on ebay, but it seems to me that sellers are attempting to cement $500+ on top of the usual 2k Dynas normally go for -

I'm willing to bet the farm that the drum never gets paid for and that it'll be back on the auction block in a couple of weeks. I've seen it happen time and again on GW. People will bid something up to the sky and then not pay for it.

Mark my words! It'll be back up for auction in two weeks after this auction ends.

John I think your right. If you look at the "complete bid history" (you need to be logged in to see this) the high bidder now has pushed the bids up past everyones max bid. I mean why keep pushing the bid up if you really want the drum. Unless your a complete dumba$$ and want to pay a lot more it sure looks like a shill bidder to me. Very fishy.

Jeff - tell me you're just yanking our collective chains... please! DOH

I like you and I consider you a friend, I'd hate to think it was you that stuck both your legs (knee-deep) into a pile of moose poop.

C'mon, reassure me so we can all have a laugh, it's just a yoke, right? Falling Do

I consider all of you friends, thats why I was trying to be funny. My wallet has been drained from my Slingerland restore and My daughter needs a new computer and her wisdom teeth pulled so I dont have a dime to spund on drums righr now.

So, sorry for the sick joke.

Yes i think you are right the high bidder as bid 9 times out of the 19 total bid's.Or could it be maybe the high bidder when they put their bid in and got the high bid they just wanted to make sure they win the drum and made the bid higher? I don't know......Mikey
