Any of you guys going?

I haven't been to a vintage show before. If anyone has been to this, what would you say the cymbal selection is like...one or two here and there, or fairly decent?

There are a couple of regulars who have large/excellent cymbal offerings. You'll have plenty to choose from and because it's a small, intimate show, you have a better chance of cutting good deals with the vendors. I'm thinking about going but won't make a final decision until tonight.

If any VDF'ers are planning to attend, please post here. If I go, I'll look for you.

Will do! Looking forward to meeting any VDF members that plan to attend. I'm bringing a couple of items for the consignment table - unless my buddy Komodobob shows up and he has a table. Then I'll add my couple of items to Bob's table and I'll hang out there.

Look for me... I'm ugly, won't be hard to spot in a crowd. Just look around at everyone and when you come to a face that makes you go, 'Damn, that guy is ugly!' that'll be me... lol

Viva la barba blanca! Long live the white beards! lol (Great shot, Mike. Nice to know I'm not the only 'mug' in the house! lol)

And just so the rest of you monkeys can feel like you attended... following below is a bunch of shots I took of the show. Enjoy.

Not many people, not many sales, but well stocked. I had a ball shooting the scheize with my peers. It was nice to meet 'RoyTonyElvin' who, BTW, makes excellent calf-skin heads at great prices and spending some time just talking shop with guys like Jack Lawton. I had a good time. I don't think many of the vendors did though. Those guys didn't make many sales during the day. Those tables are expensive. I'm sure it cost a bunch of them a heap of cake just to show up and set-up. Bad day for biz.
