Can we donate at the show (at Stauffer tribute booth) for a chance to win? I noticed it'll be across from Blaemire's booth #92.
YES! Donations taken at the show up until 2pm? Sunday...

I'm scrambling like crazy to finish up some cool sets to show and a few to go.
My favorite set this year will be a 1951 Gretsch 22/13/16/SN in the rarest
color they ever made (Even the "Great Maxwell" hasn't heard of this one) from the original owner. The sales receipt and performance photos may be with the set. Also bringing a 1964 Ringo 20/12/14, a great year for that kit. Yeah, yeah yeah. Very rare Camcos, Mardi Gras, snares, etc.
Looking forward to hanging out with all the usual suspects plus meeting some
of the new ones. This is THE BIG ONE!

Hi All,
Mike, Joe,
Looking forwad to seeing everyone. I too can't wait. Mike, I'm curious to see what you have in line from BEC?
Joe, can't wait to see that Mardi set, wow !!!!!! You lucky man. Are you staying at the same place WE ALL stayed last year, I hope so.

Got word that 6 of Bud Slingerlands family have asked to come to the show, hope to do a quick interview and talk with them. I had to ask the question "Any history from Bud?" sad to say it is all gone...
I will be there both days hanging out at different booths and also taking video for our YouTube channel.
I always end up with a bunch of stuff, last year I happened upon a 30lb box of paper drumming history from the 80's and 90's.
David

Dave, My good man,
I'm bringing the "Slingerland Ghost Drum" just for you. PM me when you get a chance. And yes we are staying at the Best Western as always. Sunday night I will treat you to some of our county's finest beer, Old Milwaukee.
Glad to hear about the new bionics, I hope you have the new laser feature that allows you to engrave drums at a ten foot distance.
Cheers and say hi to the Queen and Alan, (and don't confuse the two).
Joe
PT, To find me at the show just turn right twice and left once.I always have two booths on the wall. I'll be the guy who looks like me. And if you don't know what I look like, just think of Robert Redford after a real serious auto
accident.

Cool, I'll swing by. I'll be the big guy with the red goatee
Eddie Knight, the mighty Camco endorser, great teacher, and closet comedian
will be at the Chicago Drum Show this sunday with his sidekick, Norma. He grew up hanging around at the factory (They called him "The Kid") and can talk about the good old days at Geo Way and Camco plus other great stuff. A super nice guy. Stop by my booths 22 & 23 for info.
