Gretsch 70's Satin Flame - need some help?

Loading...

Hi All !

I am a guitar player and know very little about drums. I acquired three pieces

of 1970's Grestch kit. It has the first stop sign badges. Since I took them in payment of a debt, I want to get as much as possible out of them. Not sure if it's worth it to clean them up myself, or sell as is to a buyer. Structurally, they are sound, cosmetically I would, in my un professional opinion say they are in "Fair" condition. There are marks on them, and the chrome shows its age.

Anyway, any input on what I should ask for them, whether I should sell by piece or as a set, how long/how much effort to restore, or just sell as is?Thanks!

Toms are 12in and 13 in and the floor Tom is 16in.

Both Toms together:

the floor tom is model 4412 - the same in color and condition (forum will only lt me post 6 pics)

I can answer questions, and post other pics if that will help. I also have the original kick drum pedal, if that makes any difference.

Thanks for your time.

Here is a pic of the floor Tom - can anybody help me out? I'd like to try to sell these, but have no idea on what to ask. Even a general value like "I wouldn't take less than ______ would be helpful." Thanks Again!

Oh, and I'd pretty much take any fair offer - I want to avoid ebay.

(I do have a spotless ebay rating, and will share if anyone is interested)

You could look forever for the BD...so...

Maybe you will want to sell all 3 together to the guy who has the BD out there on FeeBay!

Would you say this is the same set/finish?

Would you happen to know what the color is called?
