^^^^ I did the same. Interesting following and forum. Was reading about what O-lugs was saying about writing a letter to them and waiting to see if you were a "chosen one" to be worthy of the hang from PANart. Some wait for years and years and still get turned down. Chosen ones travel to Switzerland to aquire them in person. There are others that make them but those are the original and the best version. I had to chuckle at one fellow who posted his reply from them as simply "no hang for you!". I guess they like Seinfeld?
What the heck is this thing?
Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.

Hang Nazi's???? LOL
John
Indeed! :D

Weird! Sounds like the 60s are starting over again. Sure they are not Woks?

Yes, I had saved this vid because of this instrument! Very cool.

Thanks for that link. Went through the various forums there and feel a bit more enlightened about this unique instrument, although I don't think I'm ready to trade a wood Dynasonic for one. With current prices for these hand-made instruments at $1000 - $3000, I'm surprised Sabian, LP, or Gibraltar hasn't figured out how to machine one for $500.
No trade ins, how about "in addition to" existing kits? Guys have bongos, congas with their kits, why not a Hang to go with them? Opens up more sonic possibilities for us.
Yes some do look like Woks.

It's hard to get by PanArt Hang at present. CryBaby
