I'm sorry if my opinion of this purchase poop-poo's the party. I feel it was foolish for him to trade (a complete and intact snare) and spend additional money to acquire another (which has been pointed out incomplete) all because the wrap didn't line up or some such thing. I do appreciate his wanting his dream kit, I really do, we all have that in us, but my god man, in this economy to spend that kind of money, $7,000, when people are loosing their homes and jobs, parents often can't afford to feed their children and veterans are homeless. I feel it was ludicrous for him, or anyone else to spend that kind of money on any one thing, especially a drum! I wish you the best of luck with your dream kit, and I do sincerely hope you won't be put in a situation where you'll be forced to sell the kit for far less than what you have invested into it, that would be heartbreaking. I'd also get it insured.Pompous? Maybe I come off that way, it's not my intention. When I see people doing what most of us feel are ridiculous or foolish, I'm not the least bit shy about saying so. Sorry if someone being honest about a situation by calling a spade a spade upsets the status quo. No one has to like my opinions anymore than I have to like anyone else's opinion. I will continue to offer help and advice on solutions to various problems and issues that people bring to the table. I will also continue to give my opinion of situations and items, when someone holds up a dead cat and says, "Isn't this the most amazing thing you've ever seen!" and everyone applauds and smiles, I'm going to look at it and say, "No, it's not. it's a dead cat you fool."Peace!
Pompus not even close, this was just sent to me from a member of ghostnote, this is in his own words from his own posting on ghostnote from our so concerned citzen??.

Groaned 1 Time in 1 Post Rep Power 200 Tobacco Free!
I've smoked for 42 years, at one point I was up to 3 packs a day PLUS 6 cigars a day. I weened myself down to one pack and no cigars (sniff, sniff, I miss them. ).
Now I'm here: http://www.metroecigs.com/Default.asp (verify your age)
I'm tobacco free since Nov 20th, 2011. I can breathe better, I have more energy (I can go from my basement to the attic without having to stop and take a nap), I can taste food (how bad it is, lol). Everything smells better, on me and in the house AND (pay attention guys) ********s are harder and last longer (no joke, tobacco causes ED issues)!
I'll give the Metro's less than a year and I'll be off Nicotine too. So far I've saved close to $1,000 NOT buying cigs.
So to sum it up, by NOT smoking, I feel better, more energy, better ********s AND money in my pocket.
"What a total arrogant fool!!" so over the course of 42 years you spend tens of thousands on this habit. But yet you with you pompous arrogance cast stones on a drum for which you do not know the OP's financially status but yet you give your pompous opinion!!. so now the mirror reflects back at you!!! You ludicrous Fool!!!
